About the work:

“Hand” is a gesture captured in metal—open, yet unfinished. It may be a sign of invitation, a plea for help, or an act of offering something of oneself. Each perspective reveals a different story: of strength and fragility, of giving and receiving. The golden glow of bronze highlights the anatomical details, imparting to the hand an almost pulsating life. Set upon a heavy black granite base, it becomes a symbol of balance between the transience of gesture and the permanence of matter.
